Today's word is defestration. My spell check doesn't recognise it, neither does my dictionary but then, I only have little desk top versions. Okay, so I don't even know if it really is a word but it gets to be my WOD by pure force of will - it will not stop buzzing around my head!
Mea silly - Bert's little sister isn't, a sister that is. HIS name is Benny and he's just learnt how to 'tight-rope' walk up the back fence. He nearly fell but thanks to not being able to walk backwards and a case of sheer determination he made it to the top where he could then jump on to the much safer roof of the lean-to. He followed this up by coming back down and attacking my feet while I was chatting with his 'Dad'. We were both cackling at him and he was steadfastly ignoring us, of course.
There may be a slight hope for me getting back on-line, at least on a weekly basis. PT has offered me the use of his broadband connection [he doesn't come close to using his 1G allowance] but we can't figure out the mechanics of the how to from my 'puter. I don't have an ADSL modem and we can't network the two computers as, although I do have a network card, it wont fit into my 'puter. Using PT's 'puter isn't really an option of comfort as it means a/ going into his bedroom to do so, even if he's not here [I am not comfortable with this on so many levels!] and b/ even though he has broadband, his puter is old enough that it is just as fast as mine was using a 56K modem [or at least that's how it feels.

A fun list indeed but did you know that fairies [of the winged nature] have the unimaginative collective of 'herd'? Boring!
